== Vision, Mission and Values definitions ==&lt;br /&gt;
* Definitions may and do differ&lt;br /&gt;
* Use Business Motivation Model if you can&lt;br /&gt;

== Vision ==&lt;br /&gt;
* Bringing things into focus. You get what you focus on.&lt;br /&gt;
* Defines the desired or intended future state of an organization or world&lt;br /&gt;
* Vision is a long term view&lt;br /&gt;
Examples:&lt;br /&gt;
* &amp;quot;A world without poverty&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
* &amp;quot;Every family should afford a car&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

== Mission ==&lt;br /&gt;
* What do we need to do every day to get closer to the vision&lt;br /&gt;
Examples:&lt;br /&gt;

* &amp;quot;We produce affordable cars&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

== Values (AKA Behaviours) ==&lt;br /&gt;
* Helps making decisions. Choices which do not adhere to values are not going to be implemented. (e.g. &amp;quot;Do not be evil&amp;quot;)&lt;br /&gt;
* Are types of rules and behaviours which allow us to get to the situation described in mission&lt;br /&gt;
* Describes behaviours which should helps to move in this direction (how can we get there)&lt;br /&gt;
* Beliefs that are shared among the stakeholders of an organization&lt;br /&gt;
* Drive an organization&amp;#039;s culture and priorities&lt;br /&gt;
* Getting more participation really makes a difference &lt;br /&gt;
* In contrast to the creation of a mission, everyone in a company should have something to say about values&lt;br /&gt;
